Annual Merdeka Cheer project for less fortunate students - 6 September 2008

Nature of Project: Annual Welfare and Youth Outreach programme/Service for less fortunate children
Objectives: Bring some cheer and happiness to the less fortunate Form 1 students of Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Haji Bujang, Miri during Merdeka Celebration Month. Clubs involved: This is a joint project between Leo Club of Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Haji Bujang, Miri and Lions Club of Miri Central.
Total value of project: RM 782.00 Total number of hours spent on project: 30 hours(preparation and the actual day activity)
Descripition of project: 20 less fortunate form 1 students were given gifts. They were also treated to a movie show and lunch organised by the Leo Club of Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Haji Bujang . The project was sponsored RM 200.00 by Lions Club of Miri Central & RM 582.00 by Dr Michael Teo ,husband of Leo Advisor PP Diana Yeoh. Leos, the 20 poor students and Lion Diana & another school faculty advisor enjoyed shopping together. We had great fellowship together
